I'm working with these really cool folks in NC, to come and do a work shop for us. Lots of details to still iron out but I want to hear from you guys on what you would want or expect from a workshop. We're looking at February dates....pricing is reasonable but not finalized..we'll likely use iNCUBATE. Thoughts.....ideas...it's wide open for discussion at this point.

FEBRUARY 17th ????

But, how about Feb 8th or 9th? Would that work for anyone? That weekend is still wide open for us... -

Thu, January 3, 2008 - 4:56 PMOK, Hoop Lovers....I'm running into some issues with a workshop location and I'm getting slightly discouraged. I was REALLY hoping that my local Y was going to work with me, but I'm getting any contact back from them since the holidays. It's not out completely, but I need some ideas from you guys, just in case it falls through. Does anyone out there have any ideas about a space that could accommodate approximately 10-15 hoopers? Think large space and if there were mirrors that would be a major PLUS. I would obviously prefer to have a space for FREE...so that puts a little twist to the request. Gallery 5 has opened up to me but I feel the downstairs space is too narrow and of course, iNCUBATE is a possibility but I feel like we might freeze our little hooper butts off there and the ceilings are limited......help me out! Does anyone have a membership to a hall that might accommodate us for Feb. 9th from 2pm - 5pm? -

HOOP WORKSHOP LOCATION - DECISION MADE
Fri, January 18, 2008 - 8:32 AMFINALLY.....a decision has been made. We are going to use Gallery 5 for the February 9th workshop. I'll post the details in a day or so. I really hope lots of folks show up......Baxter is incredible and everyone has spoken so highly of his teaching skills. I think we could all really come away with lots of new stuff.
