I don't know if any of you have heard about the Redwood City PACT program, but I'm currently attending the sessions and they're great.

If you are interested in seeing how the city works, learning about the history of Redwood City, getting to know the city employees, finding out where your tax money is being spent, or just getting a free catered meal once a week, I highly recommend signing up. I've only been to three sessions so far and I can't say enough good things about the program.

Some of you have gone through Redwood City’s Partnership Academy for Community Teamwork (PACT) – but for those of you that haven’t, it’s a great, fun, interesting, informative, and even inspiring series of evening sessions (including dinner), each featuring an in-depth hands-on overview of a different City department.
Please visit www.redwoodcity.org/pact for all the details and your application – the deadline to sign up for the Spring 2006 PACT program has been extended to this Friday, March 10!
