Hi my name is Kathie I live on C street and am looking into making a few improvements on my home. Would be great to get some names of people you have used that did a good job and that you found to be reliable and affordable I am interested in finding an electrician and general contractor.

Good contractors make all the difference. I was glad to have very good people and it made my project easy, but I have friends who are still dealing with messy situations from not-so-good people.

Mon, February 20, 2006 - 9:11 AMThank you for this great list of sources. We are in the process of doing a kitchen remodel and I "googled" Bennett Glass and found your posting. This list is a keeper. Do you have any other place of the web that you use to get recommendations for different suppliers? We are looking for a new front door too.
