Welcome Dharma, Allison, Lindi, and other new members to this tribe.

We had been meeting once a month on a Friday at land park.. but once the time changed and it got dark earlier, I didn't get much response.

We tried to meet once at a park that had tennis courts with lighting.. but only one other person showed up.. and since the park isn't in a great part of town.. we both decided it might be better to get things going again in the Spring. I looked into renting indoor space, but with a lack of commitment for financial support, I didn't have the means to pay for it and run the risk of not being reimbursed.

So.. the tribe has been inactive lately.. just waiting for more daylight and warmer days. If you have any suggestions for an indoor space.. we'd love to explore it.

On top of this stuff.. I recently started a new job and have been overwhelmed adjusting to new responsibilities..etc.. so I haven't been too motivated either... my bad.

I work late on Mondays.. until 8:00pm.. so I'm sorry to say I won't make it to Allison's free classes.. I wish I could be there!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be attending my free intro classes! I'm also really glad that you brought up this question, because I am new to tribe, but not new to hooping, so I was wondering if there was going to be any more meetings for this tribe at William Land park.

I am planning on having classes in the Spring or Summer (or both) at Carmichael Park, and then probably holding a jam session either after the class in the park area or on another day of the week when more people can meet, so I'll be posting soon about that, once I get all the stuff straightened out with Carmichael Park reps.
