Hello again Hoopers!
I've been talking with friends who live downtown, and they seemed to like the idea of a weekly meet up on Friday nights form 7-9pm at McKinley park (601 Alhambra Blvd) so I'm going to start bringing bringing out the hoops in hopes of building the hooping community in Sacramento starting mid-June. The first meet up will most likely by Friday, June 13th, so I hope to see many of you there! I'll be providing some hoops, but bring your own if you can!
Also, if any of you are interested in taking HoopGirl classes, check out my website: www.bloomhoops.com/Site/Classes.html as I have a new class scheduled in Capitol Park (15th and N) which starts at 6 pm (even though the website incorrectly says 5:30pm) on Thursdays from June 12th till July 17th. If you're interested, please email me to sign up, as spots are filling fast!

Wed, May 21, 2008 - 6:21 PMI'm really happy that you are working so hard to get hoop classes going in Sacramento. I wish I was living in there now to enjoy the hoop going ons in Sacramento. Eugene has a small community and I'm glad I'm part of it. Hopefully when I visit Sac next time I can attend a class or jam.

Sun, June 1, 2008 - 4:19 PMHey all (if anyone is even reading this) I've actually decided to move the time of the meet ups to 6-8pm on Friday nights, as I realized that it's a little to dark by the time 9pm comes around. I hope that's alright with everyone. I've also updated the "community page" on my own website to reflect this as well.

Mon, June 9, 2008 - 8:54 AMMy sister is flying into town on Friday the 13th.. and I'm planning on bringing her and my nephew to the meet up at McKinley. We'll probably be a little late.. 6:30ish because I have to work.. drive home to pick them up.. and then get to the park.
I'll also spread the word to other friends who have shown interest.
Wherabouts at McKinley will you be Ali? I know the park well.. so any landmark you throw out I should know.

Tue, June 10, 2008 - 8:13 PMHey Andi! Just wanted to clarify, the meet-ups will be starting on the 20th, as I have a previous engagement on the 13th, but after that I'm all free! Also, I think you got that the times is from 6-8 pm, even though in this thread is says that it is from 7-9, the correct time is reflected on the home page of the tribe.
