Hi Jenna. I don't know of any formal classes in Sacramento.. but, we are very close to San Francisco and there is a thriving hooping community there. Hoop Girl, aka Christabel Zamor, offers regular classes. Check out her class schedule here: www.hoopgirl.com/index.php

Once you're actually here in Sacramento, we have a fantastic teacher in Joy. She's an amazing hooper and simply an inspiring person. She's always willing to offer suggestions and give tips on learning new things.

i actually just got some DVDs...both HoopGirl and Hoopnotica...and I decided to go ahead and take the Hoopnotica classes while I am still in LA for the next month

but then I will go to SF as much as possible adn try to join up with all you bay area hoopers!

There is also a new HoopGirl teacher named Allison in Davis if you are willing to drive out that way!

I'm having two free classes for people who want to check out hooping and see what it's all about, so they can see if they want to do a full series with me in the summer.
