Hello Tribe. I'm really looking forward to our meeting Friday evening at land park. There is one small issue though.. my portable cd player is busted and we may be forced to use a car stereo system. That is of course unless someone wants to volunteer to bring their music maker!!

Joy has brought her portable cd player in the past, but I haven't heard from her.. so I don't know if she'll be able to be there. If anyone has a cd player they can donate to the cause, it would be much appreciated. Here are details again:

Where: Land Park, Sacramento
When: Friday Sept. 14th, 6pm
Time: 6:00pm - 8:00ish

It turns out my husband has a school meeting on Friday evening.. so I'll be bringing my 4-year-old son, Daniel. If anyone else has children.. Daniel would love to have a playmate.

I do have a few extra hoops that I will bring. I hope to see lots of you there.

Here are two possible ways to get there:

1)Take I-5 to Sutterville exit and go east (it is the only direction you can go)
You will see a sign directing you to Riverside Blvd. to the right
Turn right toward Riverside . (this road will curve you around a half circle so you will be heading south on Riverside .)
Turn right on 12th Avenue
You can park anywhere along the street. We will be hooping near the children’s playground and basketball court labeled g-19 on this map:

2) Take I-5 to Sutterville exit and go east (it is the only direction you can go)
Turn Left at Land Park Drive (it is a stop light)
Turn Left at 14th Ave. (it is a stop sign)
Curve Right onto 13th street .

You will see the playground with a little white house with green shutters, the kiddie pool (It looks like a big blue mushroom), and the basketball courts. It is labeled G-19 on this map:

You can park anywhere along the street.

This is a big park.. so if you get lost, just ask someone where the kid's playground and wading pool is.. most people that hang out there would likely know.
