Ok so life and Tribe has proven that sometimes one way of getting the word out might not work. With tribe going down for such a long period and then my internet service has been on the frits it was down for 48 hours, and been wishy washy since then. then add I am getting myself and daughter ready for a move. So Dana has offered to start helping me getting an email list started and get Evite started for Koffee 'n' Kink. Tribe will still be here to post local events, and I will still send info through this avenue. It seems many don't come on Tribe unless they recieve the email for the invite, and this makes it iffy if Tribe continues to drop for days on out. Since this had always a been a group thing, what do you guy think?

Folsom Fringe carpool?

I have a ticket for Folsom Fringe and a room reserved at the hotel. I'm looking for two things.

First, is there anyone interested in carpooling with me? We can use your car or my truck, and we can split the gas. You'd be the one doing the driving.

Secondly, my non-smoking room at the hotel is reserved for Friday and Saturday nights. It has two queen sized beds. Is anyone interested in sharing the room and splitting the cost?

Cat's House will host a Grand Opening Party on Saturday, September 20, in Rancho Cordova.

Cat's House is a pansexual membership-only play space. Dear friends and family,

I am excited to announce that I will be competing in the Northern
California Community Bootblack Contest NCBB on Saturday, July 26 at The
Eagle Tavern (www.sfeagle.com) in San Francisco. Bootblacking by the
contestants will begin at 12:00 Noon and continue through 6:00 p.m. with
each contestant taking a breaks from their chair to be interviewed by the
judges at some point in the afternoon. The winner will be announced very
soon after the end of the bootblacking period.

I was informed today that one of the requirements for each contestant is
that they bring a basket to be auctioned off to raise money for the NCBB
travel fund. Though a little over two weeks exists between now and the
contest, pulling a good basket together is not impossible...but I would
like to respectfully ask your assistance, through donations of items for
the basket. The theme of the Northern California region is Locker Room,
which certainly brings up many fun visuals, so items generally in that
theme would be great...HOWEVER...I am happy to accept any and all items
you would wish to donate.

Sacramento bondage this weekend (June 28-29)

Next weekend Sindulgences is hosting two events that might interest you.

On Saturday, June 28, at 6:00 PM, we are having a potluck and barbecue at the home of one of our members in Sacramento. Jay Wiseman, author of SM. 101 and the Erotic Bondage Handbook, will be our guest and has agreed to give us a bondage demonstration showing us quick bondage techniques for everyday use. The requested donation for the party is $10 plus a side dish to share.

On Sunday, June 29, from 1:00 - 5:00 PM, at my home in Rancho Cordova, Jay will be giving an intensive 3+ hour class on bondage theory and techniques with lots of practice. He'll discuss legal, practical and safety concerns, walk you through the techniques and help you as you practice with each other. His books will be available for purchase at both events. The requested donation for the class is $10.

To attend either event, you must be a member in good standing of a recognized BDSM group. If I don't already know you, let me know what other group leader can vouch for you. The Leather Community has many rules and guidelines that folks are

aspects to understanding protocol and its uses in our leather community

foremothers.This class will help explain why protocol exists in the

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Will Hutchison is 60 years old, lives in Bakersfield
with his partner of 30 years and presently holds the title of Northern
California Leather Sir. He came to the leather community by way of the
rodeo circuit but has been doing kinky shit for 30+ years off and on. He
thinks his outlook is true to the spirit of what we call "Old Guard" but,
you may be a little surprised at some of his attitudes. He has three
leather-cowboy boys to whom he is formally "Daddy." Though none live,
with him, he is able to spend a good amount of time with them, especially
at rodeos and leather events. He has been a judge at the Sacramento Gay
Rodeo two times and has a very warm feeling for the city and its kinky
and cowboy community

After the class, those that want to socialize and/or get a little
one-on-one time, we'll be going to The Mercantile Saloon down the street

I have come to realized that our Coffee date is the same day as Mother's day, and am wondering if there is anyone else still interested in coming. Or would like to be the one heading this one up. New location for Koffee 'n' Kink

So i am stuck at home and get to think alot....scary really. One of those things I have been thinking alot about is our coffee dates. It has been a wonderful time, but you all have to agree our new location wasn't as nice as we thought. I wish we can go back to Temple, but we will still have the issua of having ot sit in each other's laps. (Actually for some you that might not be an issue. LOL) So I called around. True Love Cafe would love to have us come there. They said that patio can seat way over 20 people, and in cold weather days they have a side room. They said their best days are Sunday afternoons/ early evenings. I am thinking the second Sundays. The first and third sundays are booked for me, and the fourth sunday is sometimes the day before PB's munch.

The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom has a kink friendly professional list so I thought I'd check it out. There is only one listing for Sacramento for an attorney who deals with family and estate law. That's great, but what about doctors who won't balk at bruises? Therapists who you can discuss kink with and who won't diagnose you with some sort of mental illness based solely on sexual behaviors? Maybe a general contractor who will admire your dungeon instead of mumble about the freaks he's working for? I mean, it's nice that SF has 80% of the listings, but what about the central valley? I'd rather not drive to Redwood City to get my annual exam. Anyone know of alternative minded professionals or a listing for local kink friendly professionals?

I am organizing a day of politically incorrect fun, if you are a pervert and either enjoy shooting guns or would like to learn in a safe and perverted atmosphere, this event is for you. First event will be in Sacramento although bay area folks are welcome and encouraged to attend. If there is enough interest I will organize one in the bay area at some later time as well.

Event will take place at a formal shooting range on a Sunday in Sacramento. Cost for shooting and or lessons will be about $15 and will cover use of plenty of guns and a pile of .22 ammo. Lots of other things will be available to shoot but for that stuff you have to buy or bring ammo. People are welcome to bring their own guns although I will have a pile of guns and pistols to shoot if people don't have their own.

Chest thumping and ego trips are not allowed, cbt and cunt torture is if you are subtle.

I can in general teach most of you to outshoot the non-perverts on the range, no guarantee if this will upset your partner. I hope to have some women there as instructors as well but while I know a lot of women who shoot well, I don't know any instructors (hello?)

guitarist singer drew is the sound guy providing all the musical pleasure of the night his bandmate stokes
dealing with the recordings we will have a cd from last month for sale with tracks from all the bands...whoo long winded and shit)
7:15-7:45- Cartoon oil (if you've seen his flyer but come in the front not from the alley)
7:45-8-STE the sacramento theatre experiment will peform some of the brilliant movement work they embody
8-8:30 Poncho and the Spaz (our awesome trusty funk band amazing music spun from a band that will get too big to fit on our stage one day)
8:30-8:45-The Sadistic Sideshow Of Ringmaster Roberts (who will also have set up for our pained pleasure a spanking booth after 8 as long as he can stick around before whisking away to other brilliance at noise fest)
8:45-9:15- Litany (i wish i had more to say on this band but reccomended by trusted cohorts of this art movement)
9:15-9:30 Terryl (last months poet feature will again grace us with her words spun from her pen as they bleed from her brain)
9:30-10-the happy medium (sound guy drew again with more amazing music enigmatic vocals and just seething with pure fuking brilliance i listened to the cd a week straight)
other short open spots throughout the evening because we are trying to foster freedom of expression and encourage you all to come out your perception is a part of this drenching too
And Finally at the end of the evening from
10:15- 10:45- Puzzel Tree Or Gated Community (name shift in process brought to me by the infamous red himself on lights for the night and grooving with these cats here)

Movie Night?

Over the years of BDSM exploration, I've subscribed to some websites, traded material with friends and purchased a few videos. Now that DVDs are so easy to create, it's now possible to take the movies that once were only viewable on the computer and show them on the TV in the living room. Natually this got me to wondering if anybody else in the group would like to view a movie or two?

To start, I'd like to begin with _The Pet Movie_. Google it to learn more about it. I saw a profile on a personals site that mentioned it and it sounded interesting enough that I bought it. Very on-topic for this tribe.

What I propose is this: I offer my humble residence as the viewing location on an upcoming Friday or Saturday night at a convenient time such as 8am. I can accomodate as many as eight people without it getting crowded. Light snacks and beverages will be provided - bring something to share if you like. After we've all visited for a bit we'll get the movie started. After it's over we can discuss. And after that, we can pick another and discuss, repeating until everybody goes home or falls asleep.

Please let me know if you'd be inclined to participate. Message me if you're in and a date shall be agreed upon.

I am not sure the logistics of this one, but Sindulgences is having a party this Saturday. To be able to go you must get ahold of Cat at Cat@sindulgences.com and meet face to face first. This weekends theme will be Back to School, and next weekend will be No flogging party.

The other one this weekend is Journey. For this one, you again will need to meet someone face to face. To get ahold of Kelly, send a message to journeyagainn@yahoo.com.
