This tribe is to acquaint the public more fully with the valuable service Sacred Intimates provide the community. The Sacred Intimate is a Sexual Healer, a Shamanic Body-worker that harmonizes the powerful sexual energies that emerge from an evolving and expanding psyche throughout the arc of life's journey.

The Sacred Intimate, Temple "Prostitute," or Devadasi has been part of human culture for thousands of years. She [or he] serves the community by nourishing Eros in the lives of the people in healthful, spiritual practices that bloom well-being and inspiration in their hearts and consciousness.

We welcome the acceptance of Sacred Intimates, sexual healers and body workers as part of holistic health services --recognizing its value as a transformative catalyst for the psyche/soul. Its time we caught up to the ancients in our acceptance of sexuality and in healing the split between "sex" and "spirit."

And we acknowledge that a large part of the vibrancy in life comes from a healthy sexuality which is in good working order, regularly and healthfully fulfilled. Today's Sacred Intimate serves as a sex and intimacy coach as well as a Shaman and spiritual guide -liberating the soul from sexual encumbrances to fully engage in life with joy.

Sacred Intimates address these issues, providing safe and sacred space for sexual healing to occur and the opportunity for personal, spiritual transformation and growth to happen. Helping people to connect with their divine nature and step into their divinity is the calling of the Sacred Intimate.
