Hi everyone!
So here's my dilemma: I'm very, very interested by Sadie's DVD, but unfortunately, I can not afford all of them right now (though I plan to get them all at the end).
I'm an intermediate level dancer and of course still need to work on a lot of things. So my question was, which one would you recommend to start with? Which one is the most versatile and doable? When I see Sadie dancing, I'm in a awe but then I wonder, "Can I really achieve this?!?". lol. So I want to work hard and improve my skills!
Please, I need your help! Thanks in advance!

Re: Which DVD would you recommend out of the three?
Fri, July 4, 2008 - 9:17 AMI just watched her new Thrillin' Drillin' DVD and I think it would be a good choice because it will help you develop your skills. The drills have 3 levels, beginner, intermidate, and advanced. So, you can make your practice as easy or hard as you want. Also, in the end of the DVD she puts the drills together into a dance routine.
Happy dancing -

Sat, July 5, 2008 - 9:36 AMHer drum solo DVD is wonderful but very difficult even for advanced dancers. I would say get one of the other two first. You may be able to look at video clips on www.bellydance.org

Re: Which DVD would you recommend out of the three?
Sat, July 5, 2008 - 1:22 PMI just got Thrillin' Drillin' so I have all 3 now. I would say Thrillin' Drillin' first because it includes some of the moves on the drum solo choreography and is a good introduction to Sadie's style and method. It has a lot of the same drills we do in class, and I still can't do all of them right, so it should keep you busy a while. Then I'd say the Taxim next, and last the drum solo. I know it's actually the opposite of the order in which they were released, but there you go.
