The North Texas Middle Eastern Dance Association is hosting a Cheap Thrills Workshop!
Here is your chance to study with a variety of teachers from the North Texas area all in one place! Cheap Thrills is NTMEDA's way of providing its members the opportunity to take workshops with a number of North Texas teachers and study a variety of styles - all in one place, on one day, for one low price!
Meleea - Dancing With Feather Fans (fans provided)
Brandi of Bella Natana - Tribal Fusion
Tamra Henna - Beautiful Lebanese Style
Rivkah - Ballet Elements of Classical Oriental Dance
Miabella - Balancing everything - and then dancing too! (bring something to stick on your head)
Karina Rasheed - Flow and Continuity in Egyptian Dance
Rachael from Wings of Isis - Skirt Dance (skirts provided)
Radu Stregoyev-Ferenczy - Arabic Rhythms and drumming (bring something to bang on!)
Esmeray of Cybele - Drummer and Dancer cues - working together
NTMEDA Members: $15 for three hours of classes.
Non-Members: $25 for three hours of classes or $10 dollars per class.
$25 New Member/Renew Special: Non-members and past NTMEDA members that need to renew their membership can apply for NTMEDA membership for $20, pay for 1 class at $5 and get TWO classes free.
1-5pm. City of Hurst Recreation Center, 700 Mary Dr., Hurst.

There will also be a forum directed at discussing professional dance issues and the business of bellydance. All NTMEDA members and non-members are encouraged to attend this educational forum. There will be a panel of professional and hobbyist dancers, business owners, musicians and an NTMEDA board member. The audience will have the opportunity to pose questions for our panel to answer. Please plan to join us.
4:15 - 5:30 at the Hurst Recreation Center after the Cheap Thrills workshops.
