Star's Tribal Fusion Part I: Basics will be offered again this Spring 2009 session!
If you've been wanting to take it, now's your chance!
Tribal Fusion is a beautiful, expressive, and highly stylized genre of bellydance. Part 1 of the tribal fusion class will focus on some of the basic moves that characterize tribal fusion bellydance. We will also utilize core strengthening techniques that will help us build stamina, and increase our grace, strength, flexibility, and muscle control. Some exercises will be done on the floor, so it will be helpful to bring a yoga mat! Concepts will be introduced with short combinations to take home. Part 2 of the class will continue to build on the techniques and use them in a complete choreography.
There as been a lot of interest, so get your spot while you can. Star is a great instructor and dancer. Don't Miss It!
To be offered on Tuesdays from 6-7pm.
10-Week Sessions Starts Tuesday April 21, 2009
Several spots are still left - it's not too late to register!
$125 if your only class for the Spring session or only $95 if your additional class for the Spring session.
About Star:
"I have been involved in creative movement for most of my life, starting with figure skating at the age of 9 through college when I discovered my love of mulit-cultural dance forms. I began bellydancing in early 2005 with Gina Capossella and Alia Thabit of Vermont, and later studying with Sa'diyya. Tribal Fusion immediately captured my attention at the onset of my studies of bellydance, and I've pursued it independently at every opportunity that's presented itself." - Star
"Star is a very thorough and enthusiastic instructor who receives acclaims from my students when she teaches my onging classes! She is very well-liked and talented, a great combination in an instructor. Don't miss this opportunity to study from an up and coming star of Tribal Fusion dance!" - Sa'diyya
