Hey there all thank you so much for the useful information. I really appreciate the openness, frankly i wasnt sure if you guys needed to get to know me in case I might be some jacked up DEA agent. I have some medical conditions which may qualify me, but Im planning on bringing my brother in law with me to California, and hes definitely got a list of conditions. Im certain that he would be pretty much handed a scrip on sight. Hes really in bad shape. So I want to try and be his primary caregiver, as I really have the passion and some of the know how to do this for him. Also my sister sorry to say is in a similiar boat. Id like to know if you guys have any advice or comments that might be helpful to us all in this. Thank you all again, I really want to do this mostly out of compassion but I obviously have to admit, I just really love weed! I mean c'mon, there is no need for me to lie to you guys right!? lol. Anyway, thank you guys so much for your help.

Sat, July 11, 2009 - 7:57 PMEven if you are a DEA agent it doesnt matter. You should read more. But then shouldnt we all? Are you planning on moving to CA? Where are you coming from? Are you thinking you can get a medicinal cannabis patient card in CA and bring marijuana back to another state that doesnt have the same laws? Then you will possibly be breaking the law and potentially be arrested. If youre moving to CA and plan on staying then you will have the same "safe access" as everyone else in this state.
For some reason I want to watch The Island with Leonardo DeCaprio again now. : ) -

Wed, July 15, 2009 - 6:30 PMfyi...dont ask the 215 doc for a 'primary caregiver' card. they will charge you and there is a lot of red tape. maybe ask your primary doctor for something in writing that you are the caregiver. most 215 docs (not all Im sure) classify PCG as someone who cares for a person who needs assistance with everyday things ie: eating, dressing, etc.
better to be safe than sorry.
and yes...transporting across state lines is still illegal, even with a recommendation.

Wed, July 15, 2009 - 6:56 PMwhen you get a license you will be legal and since growing cannabis has been such a rewarding experience for myself, MS or not, I think someone interested in it who doesn't get the grow license is nuts. The feds have backed off and I'm legal and to me it's great to not have to hide anymore like some fucking criminal because I want to grow this plant that grows naturally out of the ground. I think really it is all our mission in legal states to promote the MM business as much as possible - grow and smoke a lot of weed, man, call it a movement
using sea of green techniques for very little money you could finish a crop seed to harvest in as little as eight weeks and then back it up with seedlings say if a very small set up every two weeks moving the grow plants into the bloom area and this way even a very small area can easily grow a constant supply for personal use. Many plants can be vegged as little as two weeks before flowering and while they may not yield much, two weeks later comes the next few plants and so on. If you start with these autoflowering varieties you can beat even clones in time and then behind them start something else. Also, this way you can have variety from a small grow.
The only drawback I could foresee is if one is renting - a situation in which I would grow if given permission so long as I was growing legal MM but I would never ever rent and grow illegally. Also, security could be an issue not from feds or rogue locals but from criminals. You can mask the smell now and just don't tell anybody -

If I were king i'd pass a "Marijuana growing stimulus package" (of course I would already made it legal) And I would give each loyal and brave a $50,000 bucks in cash stamps like food stamps but for marijauna growing facilities. Everything would have to be bought in amerika and I would provide instead a trillion dollars to the banks, a trillion dollars to setting up manufacturing facilities to make and distribute and help set up these grow facilities. I would use exactly the same model for solar and other off the grid power giving all americans $50,000 for setting up these off the grid power stations across the nation and with the same provisions as the weed growing
amerika is saved by king david having plenty of energy to run our growing facilities and becoming the world leader again by forcing our outstanding and prolithic new crop upon the rest of the world like we now push our bullets upon them
