Having seen it at the BDSS London shows on Friday and Saturday nights, I MUST pay tribute to this superb solo, which was definitely one of many highlights in a great show. To see Sam majestically dominating a large stage, complemented by suitably impressive music, lighting and background projections, was a memorable sight. I'd have to call the piece 'indefinable' in terms of style, but if anyone who has seen it can describe it better, I'd be interested to see the description!
If you haven't seen the show but will have the opportunity soon, don't miss it! Tribal enthusiasts will be pleased to see that there's currently a Tribal contingent of 5 dancers - which I think is the largest ever, apart from when the Paris DVD was filmed.

Re: Samantha's current BDSS solo
Wed, November 4, 2009 - 2:39 AMThank you! The piece has been developing on this tour and slowly coming to a place where I am more comfortable with it. The song was composed for me by Dan Cantrell, I love it, he's a genius, its called wayward machine and is on the art of bellydance CD.
