Heya hoopers!
I'm a hooper from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and I'm visting my sister in Escondido (near San Diego) May 8-12, and was wondering if there were any hoop gatherings or events to hit up while I'm there. I'd love to meet some more Hoopers while I travel! :)

Mon, May 4, 2009 - 12:58 PMHi there! I will be out of town that weekend, visiting with my mom for mothers day, but wanted to say hi and welcome you to San Diego.
Lots of Sd hoopers get together on the weekends down in Ocean Beach, and Im pretty sure Unity (Valentina) hosts a hoop jam/workshop down there on Sunday afternoons. Hopefully you can check that out. Let me know next time youre in town and Ill come hoop with ya! Happy Hooping!

Tue, May 12, 2009 - 5:01 AMUm... I couldn't find any hoopers, but I hooped by myself just a few feet from the tide's edge, and took some fun videos. I'll try to post them soon. Thanks for the info!!
Another plus of this trip is I got my sister to hoop in Balboa park, and now she wants one of her own now!! Yay! Spreading the hoopey-goopey love all over!! LOL
