Cafe Claude

So far so good. I went there for lunch and was treated to excellent service and a jambon/gruyere sandwich on a crusty french baguette with butter and cornichons. Small salad was included. They serve Orangina! :D

Anybody been there for dinner? If so, how was it?

I was there a month or two ago. I had a fish dish that was a special that day. It was really good and at a reasonable price - I think it was under $16. I also had excellent service and the place just has a great feel to it. (I'm a little partial to all things French.)

Service was great. I thought the prices were resonable and I thought the food was delicious. Here's what we had:

Charcuterie Plate - saucisson sec, prosciutto, garlic sausage and choice of two pâtes

Steak Tartare - cornichons, capers, egg yolk, mustard, persil, croutons, shallots

Escargot en Croute - garlic, butter, parsley, almond nutmeg, shallots

Coquilles Saint Jacques - scallops, shrimp, mussels, mushrooms, bread crumbs, gruyere

Tartare de Thon Rouge - ahi tuna, goat cheese, quail egg, garlic croutons

Moelleux au Chocolat - soft chocolate cake with creme anglaise - Amazing dessert!!
