I like to take my 160 pd mastiff with me when I go to restaurants or some other places to eat. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good places that are dog friendly. I usually will sit with my dog on the patio so she is outside but not everyone is ok with that. ANd some places seem to be ok with little dogs at their places but not a big dog like mine.
I have found some places that are dog friendly like the Piedmont Grill but I was hoping some other people would have tips on some others. Thanks,,,,,,

Dogs in restaurants are a health code violation. Farley's in Potrero Hill used to be very dog friendly, but the health department cracked down on them.
As for outdoor dining with a dog, probably a gray area, but that is obviously seasonal anyway.

I used to live in Sausalito; on Caledonia Street some places keep a water dish outside. You could check it out and go to the dog park. At Halloween it's fun to see the costumed dogs... :) There is Friday night jazz (in a park by the water) in the spring/summer that people take their dogs to quite often. -

Yep, its great when you are eating and a dog takes a dump by your table. Okay, that only happened once. Seriously, I am not a hater. I am just relaying health code factoids. Most dogs are fine.
