Don't know about anything inside of the Metreon, but I like the classic vibe of Annabelle's right across the street.

Good cocktails, rich food, elegant atmosphere.

Re: metreon dining
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 9:52 AMi would not recommend Long Life Noodle Company. not only is it the predictable "food court chain restaurant bland mush", but they also use cottonseed oil for their stir frying etc. (yeah, i asked once.) unhealthy cheap-ass crap.
"Cottonseed oil is commonly used in manufacturing potato chips and other snack foods. Along with soybean oil, it is very often partially or fully hydrogenated. The growing consensus is that in hydrogenated (trans fat) form these oils are very unhealthy. Cottonseed oil was the first oil to be hydrogenated in mass production, originally intended for candle production, and soon also as a food (as Crisco). In part because regulations apply differently to non-food crops, it has also been suggested that cottonseed oil may be highly contaminated with pesticide residues, but insufficient testing has been done."

Fri, December 14, 2007 - 11:03 AMI actually like the Buckhorn's salads quite a bit. That's where I usually go if I'm in the Metreon.
Love the sushi place, too. -

Fri, December 14, 2007 - 1:08 PMThe Buckhorn has been my choice too, when faced with eating at the Metreon

Re: metreon dining
Fri, December 14, 2007 - 1:00 PMJust a five minute walk to Henry's Hunan! (And after most visits to
Henry's, a five minute walk wouldn't hurt.)
Nothing right around or in the Metreon but chains and overpriced
bar food that I could ever find.

Fri, December 14, 2007 - 7:30 PMSanraku is very good. They have a great sushi chef and can get you in/out quickly if you need to catch a movie.
Being part japanese I'm pretty picky about Sushi and have never been dissapointed there.
It's not Ebisu , but it rocks for something in a food court.

Re: metreon dining
Sat, December 15, 2007 - 8:25 PMAm I the only one who fails to see the appeal of Henry's? I'd rather eat at the 2nd st Osha across the street. For Metreon if I didn't want the places there, I'd prbably grab pizza at Mythic on 6th, or a hot dog at Dave's or something. I actually like Max's though, so maybe it really is me. -

Re: metreon dining
Sun, December 16, 2007 - 11:23 AMI hate Henry's Hunan as well. The menu is pathetically small and limited, the restaurant itself is dirty and the food is adequate at best. I'd happily take Osha as an alternative any day.
