i am coming back to the bay for the fall, and thought to let it be known that the costume shop will be open.
as a passionate dancer and costumer, my designs, quality, and timeless style will stand out amongst your rack of treasures, and will certainly remain throughout your eras.

i have a small selection of ready made pieces, and primarily am available for custom garments, costumes, and some alterations.

the more time we have for projects the better and more graceful. so think ahead.

also am available for fashion or costume wardrobe consulting which can look like exfoliating, or can involve creating new pieces to go with existing ones, or of course all of the above.

other areas of experience, in case you know someone to pass it onto...
*styling & design for film, theater, print, etc.
*large scale or small run garment production
*sewing for home furnishings

i also teach COSTUME WORKSHOPS based on the richness of tribal and indiginous cultures, and how it relates to both our fashion and dance costuming of today. drop a line if you want to know when the next one is, or if you'd like to host one.

The Saturday clinic will be held at a new location.
This time come on over to our friend Nieves' place for sliding scale acupuncture, bodywork and herbal consultations.

The location:
48 5th Avenue in Oakland.

Directions:
880S to 16th ave exit.
Immediate right on Embarkadero
Then left on 5th ave.
The 2nd palm tree on the left you'll see an art car and lots of flowers.
It's a rusty looking warehouse...but you should see some of us sitting outside.

If there's any trouble finding it call 707-338-9110.

We'll hope to be back at Satya Yuga in a fortnight.

yes i am back in the bay for a few weeks, and wanted
to make an offering. would loooove to see the local
possi, so come over and let's get dancing!
please come early for tea time and getting ready!
we start dancing at 4 promptly.

focusing on accents from flamenco, persian, balinese,
and modern breaks, uh, yeah...fun!
and a variety of diverse options to add to your dance.

flamenco and persian are brilliant for their hypnotic
use of turns and attitude which we will explore.
balinese hints include asian postures and eye/head
gestures. modern breaks are where some of my personal
alchemy comes in with snakin' around, pops, and hip
freak. we will integrate all of these elements into a
seamless chorreography including levels.
and if we have extra time, will dip into floor work

open to all levels, helpful if you do have BD
background

we start with yoga for dance, so bring a matt if you
wish, and dress appropriately.

Hey all y'all! I will be teaching a workshop that will be focusing on super slow isolations, extreme undulations, and upper body technique. Hand work, elbow work, wrist work, posture, oblique strengthening (to get that horozontal pull that makes mayas and hip slides so exquiste), belly rolls with emphasis on stomach musculature...in a nutshell, everything I am so wanting to focus on my personal practice right now. The class will be very intimate, with only 17 spaces available, so there will be lots of one on one focus. To register, please contact me directly by email, ponykleo@hotmail.com. The classes are on Friday, February 23rd, from 6-9pm and are 35$ in advance, or 45$ the day of.
