I'm back from Pennsic, and I want to thank Kevin for reminding me to look into selling CDs legally at Pennsic. Musicians DON"T have to apply far in advance to be a vendor, and buy expensive insurance and all that, like the booth merchants do. All we have to do is arrange with one of the vendors to be a wandering merchant. Then we collect sales tax on our CDs and pass it along to the vendor, who passes it along to the state of PA, all easy and proper. Just another way Pennsic makes things easy for musicians.

Wed, August 15, 2007 - 11:12 AMI went through Shek at Touch the Earth. The nice folks at Mid-East Magic also offered to take care of this for me. It's extremely easy.
