Has anyone tried this method within or without ot the SCA?
I found a book at the library which has instructions on how to build one, but I would consider one ready made.
I thought it might save me the trouble of having to haul all the accessories needed to make fire, and not have to worry about joining a food group. I know it's not even perioid, but certanly good for the environment.
What say you all?

Wed, May 23, 2007 - 12:50 AMI've built and used solar ovens in the distant past. While they work well, the problem about relying on them is that you're out of luck when it's overcast and/or rainy. ;)
