After almost 6 years the Scallywags Bike Club was officially disbanded by the founder of the club in July 2007. All of the official efforts of the club have migrated to the Scallywags Bike Shop which was established in 2006. The couple of Scallywags who migrated to the shop focus on bicycle maintenance and repair with “A large portion of the proceeds going toward training and sending our mechanics to work alongside Rwandans who use the bike as a necessary tool for their livelihood.” Those who aren’t involved in the shop are by and large doing the same thing they were doing before. We’re loving Jesus, loving people and building & riding bikes.
