New here...hello

I followed Dandelion here.
What kind of scrapbooking is everyone up to? My big project right now is to pack up ALL my stuff and move to a new apartment next month. I never realized how much stuff I had until it was time to pack it. My new motto: Stop being a Collector! (as if!)
My current project is a minibook about our house for my daughter. It's the only home she's known since she was born and has grown quite attached to it. So, we are taking pictures and making a little book for her.

    Welcome Maria!!!

Your project for you daughter is so awesome!!! What a great idea....

Hubby and I are still plugging away at our "pregnancy" scrap book....but I am thinking to start one of my spiritual journey....I can't explain it, but it's sometimes hard to "journal" all that is going on, it may be really cool to put imagery (sp?) to it....

    Good luck with the move....

btw: how old is your little girl? Our Ama is now 3 months old, so cute!!!

Amanda is 6. Wow. 3 months--how sweet. That's a nice time. The next few years are the sweetest. Mine is thinking she's already a teenager...

We are going to do an envelope scrapbook--where you past the envelopes together and put ribbons all over...will try and post a picture when we are done, but it's really cool as you have lots of pockets to hold stuff.

I like the idea of your spiritual journey scrapbook. I've been thinking of making a scrapbook all about...me. The reason we are moving is because I'm divorcing. I think it would be kind of cool to document the next year. And I think it would be nice for my daughter to see what actually goes on inside my head...maybe not now, but maybe when she's an adult. I wish my female relatives had done something like that. I think it would be neat to know about my grandmother's hopes and dreams. I know what she was to me, but not much about what she was to the world or what she might have been.

Hopefully we can do a good job of telling our stories so our daughters can have more knowledge of their legacies.
