Thanks to Tracy and that crafty lil' website I've been addicted to, I decided I was going to TRY to make calendars for peeps.
Please welcome to my mind as I think this out.
*composition Notebook
*stock paper
*scissors--normal & funky ones to cut cool edges
*mounting glue
*and anything else I think of while I try to create this
Each page will be covered -- background change AND to stiffen the paper. Once the background part is done, I will try to cover it so it doesn't fall apart. THEN, I will cut the stock paper into shapes big enough for each day. Full page will be used (front & back) -- 7 days in total on both front & back of page to create a whole MONTH. So for example, January of '07 will have 6 pages in total....5 of those pages will be putting the days on there and 1 page created for reflections of the month or just notes (whatever the person wants)...each month has been broken down in the similar manner...some months will have more pages in-between for reflection/notes. The pages that are left will be left blank to inspire the person to create their own annual scrapbooks of sorts....graffiti, doodles, pictures, found items etc etc.
If a composition notebook has 80 pages (which I think they do), I will need 53 pages to cover all 365 days, then a couple of pages after each month for reflections and then some pages at the end for personal scrappin' by the person. I think it should work out perfect. I will cover the covers of the notebooks as well.
Now, if you've read up to this point, I have a question. I want to cover each page, with normal stock paper, or magazine scraps, etc etc....I was going to glue them onto the page but once it's glued and dried, BEFORE I apply the calendar days in an array of thicker stock paper cut into shapes that will have the day# and lines to write....I want to protect the main page, but what is good to use for that??? AND when I'm ready to glue my calendar days on, would I use something different to glue on to the "finished" page??? I wouldn't want my calendar days to fall off....
*swoon* my brain hurts!
