Re: First Post :)
Wed, November 16, 2005 - 12:51 PMNICE!!!
I just went to a store called, "Rag Shop" and they had some neat supplies, it's a craft store so their main focus wasn't scrapbooking which I think keeps the prices down, their paper was 1/2 the price as what I was getting at the specialty scrapbook shop...but just not as much of a selection...
I just scrapbooked for like 2 hours and got 1 freakin' page done...LOL...I'm so stinking slow at it...
I know we need pics in our album here but not sure what to put up there....maybe pics of US working on our scrapbooks or ???? who knows...but we need a picture, I hate the shadowhead!!!
I'll play later.... -

Re: First Post :)
Wed, November 16, 2005 - 2:00 PMAhhhh the days and sometimes nights I've spent on a page. It's so much fun though.
I usually get my stuff somewhere like Michael's or JoAnne's. On occasion I'll get stuff from Target. Depends on what they have and what I want or need. -

Thu, November 17, 2005 - 7:10 AMWOW....I'm really glad to hear that you have spent days/sometimes nights on a single page....it's definately worth taking your time, what's the sense if you rush thru it, right?
Oooh, we have a Michael's/JoAnne's and Target here too.... I'm going to AC Moore today to get my peanut butter cup supplies so I'll check them out as well as they are a huge craft shop....
I'd like to use those colorful fuzzy wire things...I don't know what they are called (pipe things)....ugh, my brain is fried!!! Anyway, they look fun....I wonder if they fit well in the plastic sheets....hmmmmm? -

Re: First Post :)
Thu, November 17, 2005 - 7:23 AMWell I've never used those and I don't use the plastic sheets either.. well I haven't yet. So far it's been plasticless scrapbooks with glue and those wonderful sitcky squares (man I love those... they make everything so much easier sometimes). -

Thu, November 17, 2005 - 8:33 AMHey Trina...I think they call them pipe cleaners. I've used thousands of them for projects with my students. You can do just about anything with them. I'm going up to TJ Max today and then I'm gonna check out some stores and pick up some scrape stuff :) Wish me luck. -
