Hello all! I'm a fellow hooper who just moved to Seattle from Texas. I moved up here for an internship and...yikes...I don't know anyone.

I would love to meet some fellow hoopers...hoop, hangout and share tricks. Anyone interested ? You pick the place...or even just some coffee.

Peace, love and happy hooping!

Welcome to Seattle! We've got a small, quiet tribe, but there *are* hoopers here. Unfortunately, they seem to be mostly hibrenating for the winter. Still, there are the occasional spin jams (posted here), and once the days get longer - and the weather cooperates a bit - we timid hoopers venture out of our caves and out to Capitol Hill, Green Lake, and other spots. :)

Hi there. I am pretty new to Seattle too, only been here a year. I am always looking for hoopers and hoop rain or shine, and it is a lot of rain here! I have two toddlers, so I don't have a ton of free time, but I'm sure we could find some time. Meanwhile, in March I will be offering beginner hoop classes at Miller Community Center-- probably these classes would be too beginner for you, but maybe not... The class info is on my blog at www.seattlehoopla.wordpress.com Drop me a note and we can meet up!

        Hi Anne,

So I am horrible at checking tribe and I have been busy for the last month, but thanks for your message. That's excellent that you offer hoop classes. I have been hooping for a little over a year now and I love it. I just recently started making hoops which has really broadened my skills because now I have hoops in different sizes and weights.

Okay so enough rambling...I would definitely be interested in meeting up sometime. I know your class fees are for six week sessions, but would it be possible to attend one or two for a reduced fee? If not, just let me know if you want to meet up when you have some free time.

        Happy Hooping!

        Hana
