Here may be a good place to introduce youself as a CREW MEMBER Volunteer!

Please take some time to state what kind of service, time, and resources you may have to share.

Let's surprise each other with our strength as a community and make something beautiful and healing out of tragedy.

  • I will put in whatever time I can. This looks to be a fast-moving project. When do we expect to start the actual construction?

Someone competant at planning/project management (there! I just disqualified myself from the task by specifying competancy!) should get a schedule devised ASAP so those of us with other skills to contribute can make the necessary adjustments in our schedules.

I can also offer tools, work space & some haulage, as needed.
  • I am a builder; I build things, all sorts of things.
    have tools, will travel.

I also have another time critical project at the moment so I wont be able to focus on this the entire time, but ill show up and work when I can.

I am also a photographer, and thus will probably casually document the parts of the build I attend.

I am the owner and builder of the small 16foot chill dome that shows up at critical massive with the propane fire pit in the center,... its been nicknamed by some as, "warm dome" dome (including all its lighting) is available as chill space or healing space for fundraiser if its wanted/fits in. (obviously fire pit will be excluded unless its outdoors) could use pillows and additional decoration to make uber chill for the masses.

I have a small workshop (very small think bedroom sized) bandsaw, drill press, plasma cutter, arc welder, plus the normal gambit of power tools, Located on the east side if anyone needs help building anything,... relativly small,.. on the east side, to be later trasported over, let me know.

  • These people are all my friends. I have spent the last three days with them holding them and crying with them. I will do anything we need to to get this project done. I do performance art and work with a fire troup called spinergy arts. Jeremy and Jason worked with me for two years at the market and I have been friends with them ever since. I cannot tell you how much it means to us all that you are doing this. I am going over to see them now and while I know t-bone has talked with you already I will let the others know this is going on. Thank you.
  • I am a volunteer.

    There. I did it.

Let's see, I can do bodywork and be a listener person. I'm happy to help build things and cart them around [on foot, not in a truck], as long as I'm given direction. Also happy to be a customer service person and take donations and hand out food and drinks and that sort of thing.

I will think of more later, I'm sure.
  • Don't have much time but what I have I'd like to give to this project. I'm going to try and make the meeting Wednesday after work.

Skills: Pretty good at making something cool outgha nothin. Keeping people organized, hydrated, and happy. Not the most talented at manual labor but can usually be trusted with a power drill or a paint brush.

Also open to pitching in for the fundraiser Saturday. Un-licensed bod/energy worker, intuitive listener, and I tend to compulsively pick up after people.

Hopefully I'll be able to offer all this in person at the meeting.
  • I am definitely volunteering to dedicate my time and labour to this project. This is very important to me and to all of us. Thank you all for building momentum and helping to gather our energies and skills together for this project. I will spread the word to others.

My construction skills are limited, and I cannot think of any specific resources at my disposal that would be helpful, but I can offer my time and labour.
  • I'm in.

I will make time. I will travel from Bellingham and bring friends with me to contribute whatever we can.

I am a co-founder of Boogie Universal and we will be doing our best to raise funds this Saturday at our April Fool's party and beyond. I've already begun contacting local businesses and organizations seeking donations and will soon be sending out posts to my contacts seeking more of the same.

I have tools, sound systems, a 6,000 watt generator, resources, and motivation.

    I love our community.
  • Unsu...

    I'm Q,
    I'm a builder with tools

Phil stated in another thread what we're offering as Structures Unlimited

I'm presently living in Oakland, but am as many of you know, a LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time Seattle burner, raver, , performer and citizen. I've been spinning my wheels here in Oaktown since Saturday anxious to but my heart and hands into something useful and meaningful to our community that will express our grief and goodwill for the whole.

I can't be at the immediate meetings, for I'm still here. I've got my eyes on the groups and tribe, looking for a starte date, I'll come up then.

    I love you
  • Ooops I repsonded to the wrong message. I have time during the evenings in the upcoming week, and during the day on the weekend of 4/8-9. I am happy to do grunt work but am honestly only skilled with hammer and nail. I also have much skill with computer databases.
    Thanks for coordinating this.

    • Don't just bring your skills, but your desire to learn new skills.

I talked with Pope last night about not knowing how to weld. His attitude was, show up and I'll come away knowing how to weld AND the knowledge that I helped create something meaningful.
      • Thank you so much for doing this. It is an awesome idea and Jeremy would find it both heartwarming and highly amusing (in the best way) .

I would be happy to play records this Saturday evening. I would also be willing to donate time for construction and my car for transporting materials, if need be. PM me and I will find a way to plug in.
  • So here's the skinny: I have been uncharacteristically ill and am unable to participate right now in any more than an online capacity. Assuming that I am well enough to help in a larger capacity in the next couple of weeks, I will be available every afternoon and evening of the week except for Fridays, and will be available all day Sundays. The minute I am better/get word that I won't be playing the role of Typhoid Mary by going out in public, I'm in. I have some tools, and, though no professional, am able to use them. In the meanwhile, let me know if there is anything useful that I can do that is computer-related/online/etc.

    Skills/resources:

    a decent amount of tools
    some web dev/design experience
a fair amount of free time
    blue collar performance artist

  • I can help in the evenings and/or weekends with basic construction work as well as providing supplies <supplies being things that I can find easily at the store - I don't have the knack for finding all sorts weird supplies that alot of us in this community do :)

I just need to know when & where

  • I would love to document the process, from planning to building, with photos and/or video. I have my own business, which means that sometimes I have big blocks of time and sometimes I have none for days. And my schedule can change very quickly. Let me know when you need me and I'll be there if my time isn't already booked. If it's last-minute, call me on my cell, 206.940.9265.
  • I'm available evenings and weekends

I can do a bit of welding, though I don't have my own equipment. And basic general labor stuff.

I've done a fair amount of volunteer coordinating, too, if that would be helpful.

And I'm a good listener. I've been involved in peer counseling for years.

  • Overwhelmed by the love in our community!!!
I have time to help -available 24/7- at the moment (between jobs).
I have a cordless drill and circular saw and can swing a hammer. Willing to show up and build, cook, dispense hugs, backrubs, healing words and smiles. Just let me know when/where. Anyone with a truck out there? We can bring grill-zilla out to play and burn some tofu or animal flesh. Best by cell (773) 456-2873 email access is sketchy.

  • I have good organizational skills, writing skills, networking skill and artistic abilities to offer...... I am particularly good at portraiture kinds of stuff. I also have somewhat limited time, so I need a little advance notice for things, but I am available most every Saturday. I can contribute some cash... Whatever is needed, I'm in.
