Local Connections http://tribes.tribe.net/seattlemoderndance/thread/978ce41c-a360-4b0c-9b42-7a43ea1d9db2 <div>Hey all, <br/> i found a place where I can rent dance studio space on Capitol Hill, (Velocity) They said that I could teach my own classes, not be on their schedule, and just book space. <br/>I thought it would be nice to teach 5 dollar dance classes. Ballet, Jazz and Modern classes that rotate, or hybrid classes of ballet barre/modern center or modern warm up moving into a jazzy class. <br/>I would also be able to give my current dancers, who are doing other projects for me, free class. <br/>I think it would be fun to change it up a bit, and give back to the dance community by making class more affordable. <br/>I could also teach for trade, and let my dancers bring things, like subbing, food, or other goodies. <br/>I just can't afford to take class, and I wish that I could give the teachers trade or something. Work study is full. It blows.
