Date: Sunday March 16th
Time: 2:22pm

Tell people, Bring friends, SPREAD THE WORD!
CONCEAL YOUR PILLOW, look busy

Re: Pillow Fight Today - Sunday March 16th :-)
Mon, March 17, 2008 - 8:29 AMRE: Hanging out after the fight.
To Clarify -- Please come to the aftermath gathering but PLEASE DO NOT hang out in the fight location and socialize. The beauty of a flash mob is that is seems to come from no where, go nuts, and then disappear just as quickly. So, after the fight, scatter. Leave in different directions. Grab your pillow, or the remains of what was your pillow ;-) and make your way to the gathering. Meet the rest of us there and PLAY! The gatherings are quite fun :-) Energy is high and you get to meet all these fantastic new people. I didn't plan an aftermath gathering for the fight next Saturday, because I thought people would have places to go after the battle.
Do you guys want to gather? Throw in your .02 cents. If you do, I'll find a place that has a larger area for us all to be together in, like the past gatherings. The Chai House was a little too scattered for me. I didn't get to chat with everyone I wanted to chat with :-)
THANK YOU for the photos, Shiva Amy Baby!!! -

Re: Pillow Fight Today - Sunday March 16th :-)
Wed, March 19, 2008 - 12:57 PMmy $.02:
i'd like to stress the "grab the remains of your pillow" part here.
these pillowfights are totally legal, as long as we don't fight defenseless bystanders, and as long as we don't litter. leaving a bunch of feathers or fluff is littering, and is illegal, and will cause problems for future fights if it's not taken care of. plus it's not particularly eco-friendly, even if feathers are biodegradable.
wasn't there, so i'm not sure what the aftermath looked like in ballard. i'm just sayin.
i'm sorry i couldn't make it to this one, but i'll be there full force thursday morning, and saturday evening! i've got to go to work thursday, but i'm definitely down for some post-fight schmoozing on saturday! -

Re: Pillow Fight Today - Sunday March 16th :-)
Wed, March 19, 2008 - 6:05 PMWell stated, Sweets!
Although, upon last investigation, feathers aren't considered litter. Animal truckers lobbied for this long ago (They drop feathers all over our highways as they transport foul) Please Please PLEASE do pick up pillow cases, bags, socks, etc. If you can get feathers up- AWESOME! You get bonus points and possibly a lap dance from me.
On a sunnier note, birds and other animals do use the feathers for their nests.
That being said, I fight with a foam pillow. The compassionate choice ;-)
The other points are oh-so important. Don't hit anyone without a pillow, don't leave whatever you used to conceal your pillow behind.
You know what would be terrific... if a couple people brought leaf blowers out to coral the feathers. Then we could scoop them up and pack 'em out! Anyone have a leaf blower? Portable suctioning device? Mike, have you made one of those yet?? -
