SOE wins Jambands poll!

Well, sorta.. we tied with the other band that was in first the whole time...

Our last Jambands 250 went down to the wire with both Seconds On End and Mad-Sweet Pangs to be featured as our next two New Groove of the Month bands.

Congrats guys!

Since there are no local contenders now, I would suggest voting for Head for the Hills, a great CO bluegrass band.

Seconds on End's debut performance at Don Quixotes will be with our good friends in Five Eyed Hand. We are stoked to be supporting this awesome psychedelic jazz act that performed at this year's High Sierra Music Festival. We've known these guys for years and we're excited to witness their musical growth and well-deserved success!

Its been a while since SOE performed at the Yankee, so please do expect a whole different experience with Seconds on End. This band has grown by leaps and bounds in recent years, and promises to put on a fantastic show! Nestled deep in the redwood forest of the Santa Cruz Mountains is a well-kept secret, where time seems to stop, move backwards, and shift around in ways that must be experienced. Its the place where the beers work a bit faster than at sea level, and the ancient, creaky floorboards bounce so much that you can defy gravity as you find yourself dancing with the spirits of the ages. La Honda Faire June 15th

Seconds on End is stoked to be invited back to the 2008 La Honda Faire.

The festival is a free two-day event (June 14-15th) held in downtown La Honda, CA, right across the street from Applejacks. SOE performs the 2nd to last slot on Sunday, June 15th, 4:30-5:10pm, right before Gary Gates. There will be plenty of crafts vendors, food, beverages available. The festival is located at the corner of Hwy 84 and Sears Ranch Road. Hope to see you there!

San Lorenzo Park Saturday Market 6/14

Come join us for a lovely day in San Lorenzo park, with three bands, Seconds on End, Dave Stein Acoustic, and Open Space Project. San Lorenzo park is a cute little park just across the river in downtown Santa Cruz. The Saturday Market is a weekly event with numerous vendors: crafts, clothes, organic food, massage, and other fun stuff. Music acts perform on an island in the duck pond from noon-5pm. Bring picnic stuff, sunscreen, hula hoops, and a frisbee! The event is free!

Seconds on End Laker Sunday

Seconds on End will be performing an outdoor show at Lake Lagunitas on Stanford University Campus this Sunday May 18th, from 4pm-7pm. Bring yer hula hoops, a six pack, and a blanket! This is a Chili and Salsa Cookoff organized by the Stanford Eating Clubs. Come see Seconds on End perform two sets of sweet tunes in this nice outdoor setting. This place is great!! the vibe is so cool,, and so nice,,they gave us rooms,food a semi tour,,i hope they can get this place off theground,, i here the new owner has lots of money so they arnt going to neglect it..i have some pics on my profile page when i was there! MARCH 08
