I, Ed K., from Maryland, am currently writing as a new member. ( I have also posted most of this on the Channeling Tribe)
I have been paradoxically blessed and challenged to start channeling Friendly Entities who consider themselves non human from another dimension based in Alpha Centauri.
I would have laughed at all this about a year ago, even though I had the desire, as I had worked with Reverend Ana Jones in Hawaii who does Angelic Channeling, and also two Sedona Psychics, Yolanda, and Claudia.
I have also done some of the human study of this phenomena, by reading Arthur Hasting's book: "With the Tongue of Men and Angels" and am now starting on Jon Klimo's book.
To my point: I am writing, partly to help sustain my grounded foothold in the physical realm, because I found that the last channeling session was saying some phenomenal stuff that my ego and personality are having a hard time hearing.
One of these was that, my mission and journey of channeling could be speeded up ten fold by moving near Sedona, Arizona. I LOVE Sedona, and that's all very well and good, but it will be quite challenging and difficult for me to make this transition. Also, I don't know for sure that I could presently handle 10x the speed.
I think it will all work out, but my point is that "I", Ed K., need to help negotiate, and set temporal boundaries, for what comes through so that "I" don't get overwhelmed, and can still function in the earthly realm.
In particular here, I add the question: are some of you very experienced Sedona people supportive both of newcomers to Channeling/psychic phenomena and also of people relocating to the Sedona area?
I really don't know anyone out there yet, and though I WILL have faith, and do what I believe I am called to do, my ego would like to know that theres a safety net out there.......

I know that perhaps to some of you this is old hat, and I know from the research that Channelers have their own set of "difficulties", but I thought I'd share it and see what came back.

Sat, July 12, 2008 - 6:03 PMI would recommend a visit first. Sedona is a very strong energy. They say that anyone that lasts six months out there is an old timer. So prehaps you might choose not to burn any bridges. I have been through a lot in the time I lived (past tense) there. Check out "Beware of Rich Friends" for some stories of how extreme it can actually be.
Don't get me wrong, It is a beautiful, powerful, magical place. But it can be EXTREMELY intense.

TURN IT OFF... Or Get Caller Id mentally :)
Honestly, There are so many routes to learning the universe and so many different entities out there,, You have to filter out or screen the calls,
I myself Yell Out Loud,, Go Away,, Leave Me,,
When I want to channel, I do,, When I don't want to and it starts anyways,,,, I reground myself, and Tell whom or whatever it is, to go away,
Sedona is a great vortex,
Anyone can visit Especially if you go there looking for peace and understanding,
But if you have the mindset of finding,, Well get ready to be pushed upon you not only energies beyond this world but of it as well,
Quite overwhelming for the human mind,
I myself have learned that Our Lessons that are most valuble to us are taught to us in our own territory,
The people we are to learn from are right around the corner, If we were to go outside and trust to be lead to them,
It is a awesome ride, If we were to just allow it,
