Visiting in May: seeking aid.

Namaste.

A fellow traveler on the spiritual path is visit Sedona in May for a gathering. I seek a place to lay my head for a couple of nights. Does anyone have a spare bedroom that they would be willing to share? I was thinking about camping, however meeting other like minded folks and spending time with them when not at the event sounds fun.

I'm a holistic massage practitioner, who has a limited budget. I would be very happy to trade massage for the abundance of hospitality shared.

If anyone has any info on campsites, or local outdoor adventures please let me know. I have begun to hear about the Vortexs but am not sure what the energetic reality is, I am interested in learning.

Negative Energy Surrounds my life - can this be stopped?

Hi, I am new here. I guess I've been looking for answers to the problems in my life and I have no where else to turn. It seems as though my life is surrounded by people who want to hurt me to make themselves feel better. My life is an open book and everyone talks about me behind my back. I know this is true because I have been told by some people that I think I can trust. I realize now that I've always had these problems with people in my life, however was distracted and didn't notice too much before. In a work situation, I am always singled out and talked about. People always drag me into some sort of office politics situation and make up lies about me to other coworkers. They insult my appearance, education, experience, they befriend me and want to find out about my life and although I never get too personal or try not to, they always find a way of picking up on a sensitive subject and using it against me. I find that I am lied to constantly by everyone. This past year I have had 3 jobs, all of them lied to me about what my job was. They all just used me. NOw I am unemployed again and my friends and family are doing the exact same thing to me. I just found out yesterday that someone in my home is listening to my phone conversations and telling another family member all about my life. They are like vultures. I know that I need to move away from them, it is not the first time i've done that. I can't seem to hold a job long enough to save up enough money to be on my own. What is happening here. Four years ago, I had a great job. Everyone I knew was jealous of me even though I told them repeatedly its not that great of a job. I left that job because of the same situation I mentioned above. I was so depressed that I couldn't work for 2 years after and I tried so hard to find a job, try my own business, go back to school. All my friends and family did was bring me down and make fun of everything I tried, again more lies and deceit. Some friends led me in the wrong direction because of poor advice. Eventually I found a job and the abuse started again. Now I am stuck here wondering what to do. I am scared that the same things will happen again. I am also positive that I am doing nothing wrong to any of these people, although I get very hurt and sometimes it shows in my anger, most of the time I just keep this all inside. I just simply exist and I am just trying to live. I do not believe anymore that ALL of these people in my life, friends, family, coworkers and the events that have taken place are a coincidence anymore. I feel as though I have been cursed. I feel as though there is a black cloud following me everywhere I go preventing me from moving on. Is it possible that someone has cursed me? If so, what is it that I have to do to have this removed or is it even possible to remove it? Do I have to ride this out? I really don't know what to do.

Has anyone else being feeling on-edge these past few days. Ever since the Full moon last week my edginess has been increasing. Usually I just flow with what is going on but these past few days I have been getting more and more distressed about my total lack of time to myself. I have a partner and 2 small children, and my partner is not very supportive around giving me time out from them (haven't had a break from the kiddlets since May!). Anyway that is an aside perhaps for another tribe / thread. The energy feels jangly and like something wild is about to happen - I guess my response has been to get upset about not having space and time to prepare myself and connect with the oneness - or maybe I am feeling it more because I am under stress from lack of solitude time. Arghh sound crazy going to post it anyway

mixed messages from 3 different psychics

Hey all, what do you do if you have gone to 3 different psychics over the course of two months and each one has told you something a bit different?

The first one said, no way, Samuel is not the one for me. The second said Samuel and I could be together but there is someone better out there for me. The third one said he is totally the one for me, that he loves me, that he would marry me if I nudge him a little, that this was an agreement we have in akashic records and that he and I have worked with eachother in 32 incarnations.

Sick animals dream

Hello,
In the last week I dreamt of a sick black lab puppy with a cataract in one eye, and last night I dreamt of a cow with rough, (diseased?) skin...I could feel the texture of it's skin but wasen't afraid to put my hands on it's back. I remember these dreams were in colour, the one with the cow also had a brown horse that was healthy-looking that I was riding, or was watching it been led/ridden (I forgot). What do these dreams mean?

I've recently got a tumbled selenite crystal and i've been recalling all of my dreams since...i think its responsible for these vivid dreams.

Am I seeing my future?

This is really bizzare. About a year ago I had a dream my husband was laying in the hospital dying. I held his hand and and hugged him and he died in my arms. I'm not sure what he died of but it was probably the most utterly devestating feeling I have ever experienced. I woke up so upset and feeling so lost. I couldn't even tell my husband for weeks what I dreamt. Even now just thinking about it, puts me to tears. I think it is a premonition of something to come. This gets more bizzare. A few months after that terrible dream, I saw a picture of a man who I feel I have known forever. I instantly could feel his touch, smell his skin and had flashes of moments spent with him. I felt safe and happy with this man and his face haunts me every day since. I feel like he is who I am supposed to grow old with. My heart aches for him. This doesn't make any sense. I am very much in love with my husband and we are not having any problems in our relationship. I consider my husband my best friend, lover and my everything. The thought of this other person makes me feel like I'm cheating on my husband. I can understand if I am unhappy in my marriage or if we are stuck in a rut but there is absolutely nothing that could possibly cause me to distraction. Am I seeing my future? Is something bad going to happen to my husband in the next few years. Am I going to be with this other man who haunts my thoughts yet lives thousands of miles away and who I never actually met in person?. I don't know what is going on. They truly practice the "law of attraction" and they believe that those that belong in their organization will find them. They do not proselytize.
I know the Rosicrucians well, and I personally find no fault with them. They have ancient ties, and ancient knowledge. It would absolutely astound you the people from down through the ages that were Rosicrucians. Virtually anyone who was ANYONE...was most likely a Rosicrucian. I happen to know that as a membership and a body, they have become very concerned about world events currently, and so they broke the mold a bit to make this movie, "The Secret". Hello! Well ok...I think that maybe my son....is my grandfather or one of my twins brothers that have passed....I have always had this feeling about him maybe being my grandfather with his bday and everything...See i was 20 when i had him and it was in 2000 and he was born in February...2-10-2000 to be exact....my grandfathers bday was February 2nd...and he died in february too ... i do believe it was on the 17th. and i was 7 when my grandfather died. and that is my number...my "lucky" number. and there are 7 days between my son and his bdays......with all that going on then there is my twin brothers that passed before they were born...my mom was 6 months along. the story i hear is that maybe i was the cause for it...i was 3 or 4 then.....but anyways see i have 5 sisters no living brothers.....well my sister and i both had boys....mine 2-10-2000...hers 4-20-2004....hers was born where i was born and mine was born where she was born....quite strange...so i also thought that maybe her and i have our brothers......whew that was alot....but these things go on in my head....and i just have always wondered.... is it possible.... or coincidence...or do i think to much.....lol...maybe i just think to much!......Does anyone have any insight on this? Oh look! and See that! and she will be pointing to the ceiling in the dining room sometimes and to the ceiling in the livingroom sometimes and into our washroom sometimes and of course I can't see what she is asking me to look at. Is it possible for someone to tell me who she is seeing in our house over the internet? Today and yesterday has been especially active. Can anyone help? I will be in Tuscon in November for the Arizona Choices conference, where I will be presenting a lecture/performance about sound and music healing. The experience I have created is called soundJourney. It is both performance and a deep Spiritual experience of sound and vibration.

I would very much like to visit and perform in Sedona after the Tuscon conference, and I am seeking an appropriate venue. The conference in Tuscon is Nov. 14-16, so I could be in Sedona shortly after that. An ideal environment would be a large hall or yoga studio. Someplace with good acoustics is a big plus.

So peeps, what I'm looking for is someone who can point me to someone who would be interested in hosting and preparing for this event. Preparation would include public relations, advertising, etc. I would provide flyers, posters, etc.

Trees, technology and synchronicity

I think the trees which make the books are far more valuable than the page. Nature has been underestimated and disrespected, well it's happening now. There's an interesting bit of synchronicity which exists due to just being human and a strange geology I continue to marvel at, the 29 synchronicity. The human skull is 29 bones(nasaexplores.com), and at the turn of the millenium America had reached 290 million souls. Mount Everest is 29, 000 feet, the moon's cycle 29 days. These facts coupled with what I call My Head, the east coast of New England... it remains a mystery. What intrigues me is synchronicity, especially within linguistics. I often think back to the dawn of language, to the dawn of English, and am curious what inspired similar words like Sun and son. The solar cycle is 11 years, a fantastic number. Are you aware that Hurricane Katrina came to shore as the 11th storm on the 29th of the month? I've a fondness for Katrina, it's my sister's nickname. I'm floored by some other catastrophic coincidences, like the Bam, Iran earthquake 12/26/03, because Emeril Lagasse, the chef famous for "Bam!" is also from my hometown, Fall River, Massachusetts. And Emeril's made a new home in New Orleans, so devastated by Katrina. Doubly intriguing is the fact the Indian Ocean quake and tsunami happened the same day of the year as Bam, the day after Christmas. Actually, in North America it was Christmas when the Indian Ocean quake occurred. Books seem insignificant in the light of such kismet. Understanding linguistics is the key to understanding synchronicity. Belief in a God also helps.

I believe letters of language are precisely like genes and cells of the body. Words which share letters are alike, the letters they share bond the words. Seeing linguistics like this, for me, condenses the English language... And as I said earlier, as a community we're just not looking in the right place for truth. We need to take who we are, what we say more seriously if we're going to change the community. I have a vision, you can see some of what I see on my myspace page and blogs. It's not easy, mostly because it's lonely work right now. I'll find others.

in the preceeding two weeks before Katrina, I had a strange lump in my throat. I had nightmares about death and destruction, and was extremely irritable. My friend sent me a text on August 24th saying the following:

"Something bad is coming. I don't think I can stop it"

I often refer the DVD "What the Bleep do we know" to clients who need an eccellerated boost of spiritual awakeness. This film is a must for those curious about deepening there understanding of reality.
I was familliar with the concepts addressed in the film before watching it and still found it to be refreshing and catalyst for change. Many of my freinds have exerienced the ability to more easily create significant, personal energy shifts after watching the film. The DVD also has a B side containing facinating interviews with the creators of the film. I highly reccomend it. You may be able to rent it at your local video store. You can certainly puchase it through most large book stores and metaphysically oriented stores. Im sure amazon has it too.
