GAMELAN X = MARCH 8 at HSU

Yo Sekar Sequoians --

Finally the stars are getting into alignment and we have tentatively booked Gamelan X to perform and do a monkey chant workshop at HSU on Saturday, Mar 8. Yay! Looks like I can finally get something gamelan-ish coming soon with the Diversity Programs grant.

You can check them out at www.gamelanx.com. I highly recommend their new CD ("Satu") if you are interested in world music blend (Balinese gamelan/african/indian/balkan/western).

Next puppet epic?

Exit-Us was awesome, but now what do we do next?
Do we do another biblical spoof, Shakespear puppetry, maybe even get a stage performance?
The possibilities are endless, but I'd really like to write the script for another puppet performance over the summer. Would like some ideas.

Hey Gamelators -- our show tonight was SOLD OUT (and then some and then a few turned away...)

Thank you so much for all your hard work and perseverance. We received many compliments (in addition to the enthusastic applause) -- I am so proud of you!!!

We have a marginal sound recording (whoops -- don't put the mic stand on an empty cardboard box) and a fine video tape. As soon as I can make copies, I will distribute.

YAY!!
