We tried Blue Lotus a couple of months ago... soaked it in wine for a few days, then strained it, then drank the wine. It was very bitter but it tasted better heated and with honey. I felt buzzed and a little bit touchy-feely but I think further experimentation is needed. I'm not sure how much of the effect was just the wine, and the company. However we only had enough for each person to have one smallish dose.
