I just found out that MIKA will be performing at the Warfield. Unfortunately the $30.00 tickets are sold out. But there are plenty of places where I can buy the same ticket for $90.00-$130.00 Are there that many people who are willing to pay that much for a ticket? When I think of a concert, I think of dinner, drinks, souveniers, travel, and other incidentals. If it it were simply a matter of supply and demand, I don't think there would be so many places that have tickets available. Maybe that's why most of performances I have been recently have been musicals, dance, plays: they don't tend to have this problem.
