Empowerment of Lhamo Ozer Chenmo (Marichi) Sunday July 1, 2007 at 1:00

The Venerable Lama Kunga Rinpoche will bestow the empowerment and
practice teachings on Marichi (Lhamo Ozer Chenma) on Sunday July 1,
2007 at 1:00 PM at Ewam Choden Tibetan Buddhist Center in Kensington,
CA. near Berkeley.

Lhamo Ozer Chenma, the Queen of Light, drives a cart pulled by seven
swine. The embodiment of the first rays of dawn, she is invoked by
travelers for protection from robbers and other hazards of the road.
Her ability to dispel the fears of the night, helps us to confront our
fears and violent tendencies.

The suggested fee for the empowerment is $30.00 and helps fund the
Center's Tibetan charities and activities. The Dana (donation) to the
Lama is separate and should be offered at the end of the ceremony
