hello!
I just opened a new yoga / dance studio in san jose - Prakasa Ma ( www.prakasama.com and tribes.tribe.net/prakasama ). I'd love to have the studio offer a few donation based classes, so I'm hoping to get suggestions and feedback from members of this tribe who have already gone this route. There's so much more of this going on in san francisco - very little happening in san jose, which is why I started the studio.
Logistically, how do you handle the donations? Does it all go to the teacher, or does a portion go to the studio? If it all goes to the teacher, how does the studio make enough to maintain the space (rent, etc.)?
Also - does anyone know any teachers who would be interested in teaching a donation based class in san jose?
Thanks much!
