hello there!
i am a registered vinyasa/sivananda yoga teacher moving from Washington, DC to San Francisco in a week! I would like to hold a weekly yoga class by donation in the city....since i am new, i am wondering if anyone has suggestions as to a venue where I could do this..I am also interested in teaching yoga to inner city teenagers/those in need.
...just looking for opportunities where I can share what I have learned in a healing, community-based setting....
cheers
Michele

Re: Looking for a place to teach
Thu, January 15, 2009 - 11:32 AMHello Michele:
I talked to the owner of this dance studio recently and he was considering of having a weekly yoga class here if he could find someone interested in teaching. This area is the outer Sunset district of SF and there aren't any yoga studio nearby. So I think it would be really popular in bringing the local people together for yoga.
Hopefully you can contact the owner and work something out... Best of luck!
