Tue, September 25, 2007 - 9:45 PMHey John, that is a good idea. Some years ago I was part of an adhoc gay vegetarian group and we had pot lucks at members homes. it was a lot of fun. One suggestion would be to sample the various veggie restaurants that exist now in S.F. Or we could go the pot luck route if people are willing to travel outside S.F (I live on the Peninsula).....One of the old gang used to march in the Freedom Day Parade with a sign that said "gay vegetarians don't beat their meat! ....he was an animal rights activist. -

I think we should do some queer veggie activism....carrying naughty signs... that say things like.. *yes....cum IS vegan!* and *we dont eat weiners, we just stick them in our buns....*
