So, just got back from JC Superstar.

The show was cool, but ted neely, while it was
awesome to see him in person,
HE OVER ACTED!!!!!!!!!
OMG BECKY!
The whole time he was being fucking JESUS THE RELIGIOUS IDOL.
Not jesus, a guy with fresh new ideas that has people digging his insight.
But A pure and total egotist.
Such a drag.
Then when he would sing, it's like he was in a frozen body.
and only on like 3 occasions did he belt it out like he should.
otherwise he was singing like he had a hernia he was trying to hold
in and if he relaxed at all, it would come tumbling out causing a bloody mess on the stage.

ya, dude, even in the curtain call he remained in total character.
brother.
which leads you to believe that he walks around in his day to day
slowly blessing everyone he passes.

Now harrod, that was the best funniest harrod I ever saw,
they made him a hilarous screaming queen but no where near overboard,
just plain highlarious.

Judas was a slightly chunky rennisance fair computer nerd white boy who
could fucking sing!
mary was a malibu barbie but damn, what a voice.
and then there was pilot.
I think they went to state college and perused the campus for the most
attractive looking young womanizer type.
He was a puppy.
but he could really act.
Simon was a young black boy who
at some points in his singing it gave you the impression
that he was out of his league.
He could sing well, but you got the feeling it was
his first role.
the lighting was FANTASTIC.
the set, simple yet quite functional.
All in all it was worth it but I wouldnt go again.
