Curious about Friday night @ IML..

Hi me and a friend wanted to check out the IMLs party friday night but it seems to be a gay male event that night ..does anyone have info on this by any chance? Any thing else worth going to tommrow night?

    IMsL, aka International Ms Leather, is definately *not* a gay male event! For the entire weekend, they will have dungeons open 24 hours a day, three different areas, one is men only, one is women only, and one is anyone welcome. For more info on IMsL, see www.imsl.org/ .

    Online registration is now closed, but you can get a Friday day pass for $40 it looks like:

    Opening Ceremony Ticket—$30 ($35 on Feb. 15, $40 on April 1)
    Includes Friday access to entertainment, play spaces, hospitality suite receptions, and vending.

    There are two workshops on Friday, the open play spaces, the vendor area, and the opening ceremony.

        You could probably go to the Men's area, Max, cause from what I understand you could "pass" as a man. I don't know if ImsL is like Exiles when it comes to who gets defined as female.

          Mmm..

          Most people see only what they expect to see. Due to the current invisibility / anonymity of the Intersexed. most folks only expect to see men or women. As a result, that's all they see.

          So, I suppose, I could passively promote that limited paradigm, and try to "pass".

          But that's why I asked my question. Not to sneak anywhere, by slyly "passing". But to explore the options, for someone who is openly intersexed.

            There was a 'Pansexual' space at IMsL which was open to everyone. I played there because they had some nice equipment. Generally, I thought IMsL had everything covered pretty well. I met several intersexed people there.
