Interested in going to World Bridge this summer?

I want to this year. The dates are August 7,8,9. If enough of you want to go I was thinking about renting a big van again. Then actually camping out somewhere an additional night or so since it's about a 17 hour drive to Ashville. Just thought I would throw this out there and see if anyone else is interested in going. I know I am!! No lineup yet but the last several years speaks for it's self. :)

    I might be interested in World Bridge...especially if a big van is involved. =)

    I definitely plan on going to Gemini though.....anyone interested in carpooling out there?

      Kara most def a big van would be involved! I had 4 others tell me that they were interested as well. At aum we rented a 15 passenger and had 12 people and a trailer to make it sort of comfy...

        Lydia World Bridge is a festival that is held every year up in Ashville N. Carolina. This will be the 4th one. They don't have lineup or anything posted up yet but the dates. If you would like to read about the gathering from last year look here

          I am leaning towards Asheville and World Bridge-I like that vibe that the Touch Samadhi folks bring to everything they do, and it'd be cheaper, best I can tell.

            To get an idea of gas cost, I used AAA's trip calculator, and went with a 2006 Econoline Van. Gas came to about $234 for round trip.

            Divide that with, say, 10 people going and that works out to $23 per person. Very doable.

            Of course, this is subject to change, as gas may spike this summer.

              World Bridge is actually Those People Productions, but either way it's still at Deerfields and all the Asheville and Atlantis people will be there. For the lineup you can expect the best darkpsy live/dj sets from across the US, and nothing less! These guys, or I guess Those People, do it right for sure!

              And with almost 2 months between them, I think I should be able to make both Gemini and World Bridge, so hopefully we can get a decent group together for both.

      Sweet I'm so glad so many of you have an interest in going. It is such a beautiful drive once you get into TN. This is going to be such a fun little adventure!! If you are 100% positive that you want to go please let me know. So far I have 6 people who are 100% positive that they want to go.... The rest of you just shoot me a PM and let me know.....

      OK guys so here's the situation:

      Our ride to World Bridge had to cancel, so as of now, 3 of us need a ride from Austin. We have an extra presale ticket and 3 riders to split driving and gas up there, which with 4 people in a car that gets decent mileage, would put it around 50-60 bux a piece for gas round trip. We are all off by 2pm wedensday, and I have a place for us to stay thursday night in Asheville as our plan was to drive through the night wed. and get there thursday afternoon. If anyone wants to take their car up there with a bunch of hippies (we're not too smelly), call me at 210-391-9261.
