Location:

Your journey takes place in the land of Spirithaven. This spacious land offers lots of camping space, private/non-private showers, and even some livestock – though they aren’t for sale, nor are they edible. The address is 9706 Anchor Ranch Loop, Flatonia TX 78941.

Food/Water:

The Council of Magickal Arts will be providing full food service with a vegetarian menu. They will also provide drinking water. As of this moment I am waiting on the menu options and costs associated. The menu will be offered from Friday evening through Sunday morning. You are more than welcome to bring your own food & beverages.

Camping:

There's more than enough camping space available. The land is full of old oak and elm trees that provide copious amounts of shade. The Council of Magickal Arts rules over this land and requests that you leave no trace of your existence on their land when you leave. Please pack out what you pack in....that includes your trash. Trash and recycling bins will be on-site, but your personal trash receptacle should be your first choice. Cigarette butts are TO NOT HIT THE GROUND. Please bring a tin, like an Altoids package, to place your butts in or use your back pocket. Show some respect for the land owners, the promoters, yourself and the Earth. Ins and outs will be allowed, but re-entry is solely permitted to those wearing wrist bands provided at the gate upon paid admittance. No wrist band...no re-entry, no exceptions....no excuses.

Workshops/Vending/Performers:

We are looking for you. If anyone is interested in providing these services then please send an email to uhm.psy@gmail.com
We are in the process of speaking with a few people to offer some of these services; updates to follow.

Cost:

$25 for both nights
$20 for Saturday night

The gates will open at 6PM Friday night, and close at 3AM Saturday morning. The gates will re-open at noon on Saturday, and close again at 3AM Sunday morning. Arrive early for the best camping spots.

    Added to the menu:
Homemade Ice cream Usually Vanilla bean, Milky way Chocolate.
Shaved Ice (true shaved ice not sno cones)
Cupcakes (carrot cake, vanilla, choc, etc).
    Cookies (various)

The Daily Juice will be providing their unique blend of superfood infused elixirs. They will also be providing a selection of raw, organic chocolate sweetened with agave nectar. They don't use any chemicals, chlorine, preservatives, processed, genetically modified or otherwise denatured food. Their stance is that we are organic creatures and therefore should take sustinence through organic sources.
    www.dailyjuice.org

Please do everything in your power to bring your own non-disposable cup(s) from home for refreshments from the vending area. We want you to have the least amount of trash to take back home with you.

YOU ARE TO PACK OUT WHAT YOU PACKED IN.

All cups and flat ware provided when you purchase food are made from 100% organic materials and are compost friendly(wheat and bamboo products). There will be clearly marked containers for these items around both stages as well as the camping area.

    Lastly.....for now......
We are still working to find a swimming area that is close by. The Colorado river runs through this area, so between myself and the venue we should be able to track something down. There's a state park in La Grange that offers swimming for a $4 entry, but unfortunately it is just over an hour away.
  • Roberto from Mantra Sounds will also be a part of the vending for this gathering.

We will also have another gentleman named Tom who will have organic soap made from mimosa hostilis. This is supposed to be a pretty powerful soap when it comes to skin issues.....that's what I have heard.
    • Its good stuff I have to say!
      • it's very good stuff! it really helped with Audrey's eczema & my poison ivy! +++ positivity produced products are the best! <3
        • hmmm. Kai has eczema, is it safe for kids?
          • Yes, it's safe for kids! You need to apply yourself unless your child is responsible enough to use it properly i.e. not getting it in the eyes and not using it as a projectile from a water cannon etc... Just be sure to wash it off the body completely (It's easy to tell when its washed off as opposed to most soaps that simply foam up, this coats the skin with a brown soapy residue that’s easy to see and apparent when not washed off properly). It reduces the lesions and inflammation and helps with the itching. Continue to use topical and oral medication if eczema is severe but if it is mild eczema try the soap by itself so you can tell the exact results, then continue topical lotions if needed. Eczema is also stress related so keep a log of what seems to be triggering the eczema helps allot.

Here is a little note on the soap itself, during the 1985 Earthquake and resulting fires in Mexico, mimosa bark was endorsed by the Red Cross as an anti-microbial agent that could disinfect, sooth, and speed the recovery of burns, cuts, scrapes, and infections. The number of people injured was so great, that they had run out of conventional medicines to treat the suffering. The Red Cross believed that Mimosa hostilis, with all of its healing properties, could be effectively employed in place of conventional medicines in this case.

This all joking and hippie bashing aside, this stuff rocks and those that know me are aware I’m not keen on endorsing things just because they are natural. If it works it works and for me and my family this stuff worked!

      Hello guys and gals......

Due to some circumstances out of our control we are not able to use the venue Spirit haven for this event. We got notice last week that the last couple of events they have had out there have had sound complaints and the venue owner is worried that the cops will want to shut down this event due to that.

We have decided to move this event to a venue out in east texas called Armadillo Acres. www.armadillo-acres.com It's a little over a 2 hour drive from Dallas/Fort Worth and a little over a 5 hour drive from Austin/Houston. This is the venue that the regional burn Myschevia is held at every year and also the venue that the Space Hippies party was held at a few month ago.

Due to the change in venue we have had to make a few changes in the lineup and at this time there will be no concessions for sale. I'm in the process of trying to find a food vendor for this area. We will still have communal water though.

      Your updated Info!

A new workshop has been added.....

          Guerrilla Gardening

This workshop will present guerrilla gardening as a tactic that one
can use to transform cities into gardens by means of reclaiming
derelict space. We will discuss why it is imperative to start building
a city that lives in a more symbiotic manner within the rest of the
natural world. We will also discuss how to choose your locations,
water collection, how to choose plants, guerrilla grafting, strategic
deployment, and how to make seed bombs. If there is time, there will
be a short history of guerrilla gardening.(Diggers, Levelers, South
          Central Farm, peoples park)

Btw, the directions have been posted on www.optiphonic.com
