We discuss building shelter for extreme environments (like Burning Man): high heat and wind, cold, precipitation. Anything from big aesthetic installations to covering your little tent. Feel free to discuss domes, tents, ratchet tie-downs, rebar, stakes, duct tape, bungee cords, pvc, wood, shade cloth, aluminet, tarps, carpet, rope, carports etc. Also securing, building, transporting, purchasing. I guess we can throw in safety (3rd), aesthetics, functionality too, not to mention other infrastructure such as showers, are great topics.
