parade of lost souls
This year our screen was pretty set back from the crowd,
which was okay with me cause the massive moving parades were busy & bustling!
Sometimes shadowshows are best viewed from a safe distance.
This is the largest scale that we have ever projected onto, with two ohp projectors and masks and our own generator provided by the festival (yey!)
The screen was specially designed having many small slits cut into it, so the wind wouldn't topple it over. Brilliant.......and it worked!
In this photo our main character Vasilisa seems to be casting some sort of musical spell onto the garden near her house.
Experimental styles......two full hours of pure improv like this was delicious!
