okay so,
here's what I remember from lastnight's "dreams" shadowjam...
(dec 3rd @ the Main Artery)

four hands caught in the updraft
caw caw!

two accordions
raw rah!

birds of a feather......flock together!

bird shaman conjuring
(red bag pulsing)

the dream tree.....
comes in screaming!
(druid telling)

creatures gathering
the swan nearby asking,
the roots are there too

(what's in the branches is also in the roots)

god and dog discuss (as god and anti-god)
they are the bat-bear and the gnome in cahoots,
together watching the blue sky flickering
arms around eachother for support

ocean goddess
whooshes in.......

the shell, the shell !
the whole ocean's inside that space inside the shell
(and outside of it too)

the tree grows out from the ocean's landscape and bears her as it's fruit
gummy gems lend to the mulch
(bamboo steamer flickering)

the yoni tree!...

rubber bands layering inside
while the key turns them, churns them
"this is how dreams are made"
a commercialized voice announces

boxy eyes closing and unhinged
"what do you see?"

I see a dream worm on fingertip wriggling
"I am bliiiiiiinded by the liiiight"
(bird shaman devours the worm)

the heart connector is disconnected and trapped behind bars
the bird shaman is called back to help
wielding a shamming crow bar.....the disbelievers are quieted.
red waters revealing
"will this heart ever love the same way again?"

a baby is born, revealed,
is the world too small to support it?

the newborn is lodged into the center of the dream tree
there is a brief moment of resolve,,,,
then,
violation!
the drum thumper thrusts and the incense sticks jab
the world is overturned

today's disaffected youth walks through the world seeing nothing for what it is
is duly unimpressed
his alcoholic dad finally dies
"dad is dead!"
dadadadada
deadbeat deeds

the youth falls in love with a chicken, stemming from a staring contest
(they have the same hairdo)
green light for the fowl
crossing the road
