SHAKEFEST 2008 is back this year for the 3rd time from Friday 30th-1st June 2008, taking place once again at the gorgeous Neo-Gothic Charleville Castle, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.



SHAKEFEST has many new exciting additons featuring ;



All the greatest, most innovative and high quality dance workshops and Instructors in Ireland including:

* 8 + specialty Bellydance, Gypsy, Bollywood and Tribal Workshops
* a fantastic variety of dance workshops including Jive, Tango, Salsa, Capoeira, Burlesque, Breakdance/HipHop and more
* a variety of cultural workshops including Learning the Fire Hulahoop, African Storytelling Drum Circle and Meditation Techniques

Attractions include:

* Healing Tee Pee's full of Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Psychic Readings, Colourful Ethnic Clothing and Jewelry Market Stalls, Seaweed Treatments
* Dance Demonstrations and OPEN STAGE in the 'outside lounge' all day
* An ALL DAY FULL BAR opens noon to 10pm - gates close at 10pm
* Scrumptiously healthy food by THE HAPPY PEAR
* Camping facilities on the Castle grounds Friday 30th from 7pm until Monday June 2nd noon
* A CIRCUS TENT TO PLAY IN!

A SPECIAL CHILLED - OUT PEACE CONCERT featuring a dynamic dance performance by our instructors and selected students at 8pm, followed by renowned cultural artists Flamenco Guitarist John Walsh, African Drummers, Reggae by NOON, DJ's and more until the wee hours.

Concert ticket €25 or ONLY €10 if you take 3 workshops or more!


ENTRY FEE TO CASTLE GROUNDS
starting Saturday May 31st at 12pm: only €10
Friday Camping €10, Saturday Camping €20, Sunday Camping €10 or if you stay for 3 nights, just €30
SHAKE DAY PASS (Entry fee, Saturday camping and Concert) ONLY €40
Workshop fees extra: 1 hour only €12, 1 1/2 hours only €15 (Drumming Workshop special price of only €12 for 1 1/2 hours - drums included - spaces limited)
