This group is dedicated to examining and transcending the historical conflicts between order and chaos, ethics and passion, desire and morality, freedom and commitment, etc, as they affect our experience of community, truth, beauty and goodness.

Historically, Shambala Knights focus on maintaining order and wellness through agreements and ethical rules, sometimes enforced. Discordians hold it down for spontaneous chaotic freedom. The two groups have been in conflict since the Dawn of Time, resulting in every kind of social ill from fascism (too Shambala heavy) to criminality (too discordian). Now our mission is to integrate our values, needs, and methods into a higher synthesis, forever eliminating the apparent conflict between ethics and order on the one hand and freedom and passion on the other.

All Shambalans and discordians, as well as those who have begun integrating these tendencies in themselves, and those who do not associate specifically with either set, who are interested in integrating dualistic notions and behaviors are welcome to join.
