More Breathing

I tried this one where you can be really aware of the effect ways of breathing have on your inner harmony..
When i was laying down focussing on my body, getting relaxed...
I tried breathing on the heartbeat..
One breath per two heartbeats till it becomes natural.. two heartbeats in.. two heartbeats out...
as a way to bring oxigen to the inner fire.. let it become as natural as the heartbeat itself...
then one breath per three heartbeats till it becomes natural..
Change the breathing till the inhaling and exhaling takes no effort at all...
A costant flow of air going in and leaving...
then one breath per four heartbeats..
one breath per five heartbeats...

till you are breathing slow, long breaths... i made it till one breath per twelve heartbeats..

If you have come to your limit of heartbeats per breath, hold this on for a while...
Then go back suddenly to two heartbeats per breath... this bring a great change into your body.. a thrill of oxygen that bring a strange warm feeling like a blanket..

Any more breathing exercizes..?

Peace, Love and Nakedness...

plug your right nostril, breathe in thru the left
plug your left nostril, breathe out thru the right
plug your left nostril, breathe in thru the right
plug your right nostril, breathe out thru the left

the rhythm is up to you. I like to start off with fire and work my way down, down, down into a slow oscillation.

    purifies the nadhi's

the main channels of energy surrounding the chakra points. there are said to be 72,000 nadis....three of major importance : the ida, the pingla, and the sushumna. these three channels run paralell to the body's physical axis, the spine. the sushumna is the channel most yogis seek to cleanse to achieve realization. ida the left channel carries a lunar energy that is purifying and nourishing....pingla on the right is the solar carrier.

i guess i should say that the sushumna is the center channel from which the chakras emerge......

            ah yes very good.

            a nadhi is a circuit

you can feel the way the energy of breath moves . .

I like those old hindu yogi's,
            they have a wonderful SYSTEM
            of understanding.

    From the Vijnanabhairava Tantra:

The supreme Shakti reveals herself when inbreath and outbreath are born and die at the two extreme points, top and bottom. Thus, between two breaths, experience infinite space.

i really like 'breath of fire'- breath in really slowly and deeply, filling the lungs entirely on the inbreath (maybe hold) and empty them entirely on the outbreath. do this 10 times, then pant rapidly for 10 breaths. repeat the cycle. creates a warm floating feeling, clears the mind.
