I'm sure some of you out there will have seen it and know what i'm gushing about...
Sharon, your solo piece on Saturday night was breathtakingly beautiful. So emotion and strength came through I couldn't rip ma eyes away! I was seriously welling up and on the verge of bawlin' my face off, as were a few other folk I spoke to. Truly an inspiration that reminds me how much I love to dance and keep learning more, thank you!

Re: Sharon's Solo @ Raqs Britannia - a very short review
Tue, June 9, 2009 - 3:32 AMi loved it too, mainly because it seemed so much like her personality. And that hair tossing - wow!! Oh, and those flutters - it's taken me months to get a slight ripple with my flutters, how the hell does she do that?! -

Re: Sharon's Solo @ Raqs Britannia - a very short review
Fri, June 12, 2009 - 1:41 PMShe was wonderful at Raqs B. Did 'kick your own ass' workshop on Sunday and she was so patient, but hey I want to be able to do that diembodied hand thing now too. Problem is I need to loose about 3 stone and take a gizillion yoga classes first lol.
Got lovely hug from the Devine Miss K which I will treasure always x

Re: Sharon's Solo @ Raqs Britannia - a very short review
Thu, August 13, 2009 - 1:48 PMYeah, I loved this piece too - it was so DIFFERENT as well, so refreshing. I do not like that kind of music at all, and it would never move me to dance, but it was truly magical watching Sharon. And the hand flutter passing on to belly flutter was such a superb idea!!
Sharon, you are something else on stage - what presence! -

Re: Sharon's Solo @ Raqs Britannia - a very short review
Thu, August 20, 2009 - 5:04 PMwas it the piece she does in the totally white costume.... so very very moving... she performed it in Vancouver, BC at BDSS show at the Red Robinson theatre... brought me to tears. My daughter was mesmerized [her first time seeing pro dancers] by Sharon's performance.
I would so love to see it on a DVD ... maybe she will do another instructional DVD and make that her performance piece.
she is "something else on stage" ... and off!! such a delight :)
